A non-tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in the upcoming fall semester, August 16, 2026.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the education and training of graduate students in the clinical psychology program.
- Teach courses in the candidate’s area of expertise that emphasize clinical training in intervention and assessment across the lifespan.
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision in treatment and psycho educational assessment.
- Support the oversight of graduate students within an on-campus training clinic for clinical psychology graduate students, the Auburn University Psychological Services Center (AUPSC).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of practice and supervision within clinical psychology; maintain and build specialty practicum experiences within area of expertise.
- C contribute to a respectful and supportive learning and working environment.
- Teach graduate assessment courses (strongly desired).
- Contribute to the oversight of daily operations within the training clinic, including on-site supervision needs, policy development, and training.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Psychology or closely related field from an APA-accredited program.
- License eligible in Alabama.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and supervision, evidence-based training, and program development.
- ABD candidates will be considered but must have Ph.D. by the start date; otherwise, the offer will be withdrawn.

The program has been APA-accredited since 1981, with a 10-year accreditation period awarded in 2019.
