Job Summary
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is accepting applications for the position of Program Coordinator. This position will oversee one of the many growing programs within the lab to ensure external deadlines are met for paid projects and research.
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work
- Emergencies
AU student employees are not eligible for TES.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the daily program operations to meet schedules, adhere to standard procedures, and meet reporting requirements.
- Assists in developing, planning, and implementing projects within the program ensuring goals and objectives are accomplished within parameters.
- Owns the deliverables development process for a given project, process improvement and quality control for internal processes, which can take the form of data analysis, research papers, and presentation.
- Collects and analyzes data to provide reports to enhance the mission and goals of the lab.
- Monitors and assures quality of data and determines how to translate into usable, actionable information.
- Partner with Lab Directors in the design and planning of research, experiments, tests, and laboratory sequences.
- Supports the lab in the endeavors of potential funded research by preparing demonstrations and/or program-related presentations and lab tours
- Student team management and coordination including scheduling, onboarding and training and ensuring projects are properly resourced
- May travel for recruiting, events, and research as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Desired Qualifications
RFID experience preferred.
