Job Summary

Auburn Athletics is excited to begin the search for a Graduate Assistant – Event Operations
. This individual will assist the game manager or serve as game manager/main point of contact at assigned sports and events and prepare and distribute communications & materials for gameday operations.

Essential Functions
  • Assist the game manager and/or serve as a manager at assigned sports and events
  • Prepare and distribute communications and materials for gameday operations (event sheets, credential boards, etc.)
  • Assist with leading in event staff scheduling, training, and education – contracted and student staff
  • Assist with event/facility set up and break down
  • Manage day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Admitted to a graduate degree‑seeking or certificate program at Auburn University.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sport management, or related field.
  • Registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship.
Expectations

Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a collegiate or professional sport event management is preferred.
Compensation and Details

Pay Rate $1,235.00/monthly
Work Hours 20
