Transfer Picker

The Transfer Picker is a vital component of our operation, ensuring that we have material stocked in all of our branch plant locations. RF Scanners and Powered Lift equipment are used to complete tasks moving inventory from warehouse stocking locations to pallets for intercompany shipment. These tasks are generated through transfer order demand weekly.

*** This position works 3p‑11:30p Mon‑Fri and a $1/hour shift premium applies. ***

• Inventory picking of material using RF System
• Perform duties using RF System and Material Handling Equipment
• Basic computer system use to generate labels and packing slips
• Carton and pallet building, wrapping, labeling, and weighing for shipment
• Loading and unloading of tractor trailers and shipping containers
• Perform general receiving and inventory functions as needed
• General warehouse responsibilities, and other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in warehousing highly preferred; shipping, receiving or related fields
• Attendance reliability
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems, RF scanners, receiving processes, inventory control tools and concepts. J.D. Edwards Enterprise One experience a plus.
• Ability to become certified to operate Material Handling Equipment/Powered Lift Trucks
• Ability to handle physical workload – job requires repetitive lifting, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
