Job Title: Senior Web Application Developer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Role

Summary:

The Senior Web Application Developer will support and perform second and third level support for a various applications. This position will work in several types of platforms and needs to be able to trouble shoot issues. Also, this position will work in an agile environment with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility including the on-time delivery of application design, configuration and development work.

This position will leverage best practices to in the capacity of development, support, technical design and implementation. Provides support to all members in the project team.

Focus of qualifications looking for:

• 5 + years of experience in the application development using Java SE, J2EE Core J2EE Patterns.
• 3 years of experience with Websphere application technology and development and use RAD 7.5 or RAD
  8.0 IDE
• 5+ year solid Web application design and development experience, including both front-end UI development and back-end business object layer.
• 5+ year solid Java development experience with O-O design.
• Web Sphere portal development experience required.
• Liferay portal development experience would be nice.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Agile development, Web Services and content management tools such as Adobe CQ5 are desired.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation.
