Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

The Pipe fitters primary function is to configure, install, fit, and maintain various piping systems, and ensure smooth operation of those systems.

Stuart Mechanical provides comprehensive commercial and industrial mechanical services throughout Michigan. These HVAC services include sales, service, installation, building/automation/controls, design & builds, and preventative maintenance.

Stuart Mechanical is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan and serves the entire state of Michigan. The majority of our work is in the southeastern region. Markets served but not limited to: education, medical, automotive, religious, retail, technological, construction, fitness, property management companies, facility maintenance, etc.

• Proficiency in varius welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and familiarity with pipig codes such as ASME B31
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and perform calculations for pipe measurments, angles and pressure laods.

• Reading and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts, determine material needs,and esure systems meet exact design specifications.
• System Fabrication: cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required angles using specialized equipment such as pipe benders and cutting torches.
• Joining pipe sections and fittings through welding, brazing, soldering, or mechanical methods (threading/cementing)
• Securing piping systems to structures using brackets, clmaps and hangers.
• Using hydrostatic tests anf pressure gauges to check for leaks and ensure system interegritybefore operation.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and replacing worn- out components in existing systems to prevent downtime.
