• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and how to enroll in Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns by following policies and procedures, partnering with Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to help guests.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, ethics, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive-Up Orders, and DU Returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; comfortable using multiple devices.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is important.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
