Assembly Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly team, consisting primarily of contractor technicians, in mechanical and system-level assembly tasks.
• Act as the subject-matter expert in mechanical assembly, fitting, torquing, machine alignment, and installation.
• Ensure all work is executed according to technical drawings, project timeline, and quality standards.
• Provide hands‑on support and leadership at the site, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and discipline.
• Interface with project managers, engineers, and quality staff to ensure smooth handoffs and issue resolution.
• Track and report progress, manpower needs, materials, and task status daily.
• Drive safety compliance and foster a results-oriented work culture among contractors.

• Master-level mechanical assembly skills in industrial automation, tooling, or equipment integration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical assembly, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven ability to lead a field crew and maintain productivity under pressure.
• Comfortable reading mechanical drawings, BOMs, and layout plans.
• Physically fit, disciplined, and highly organized.
• Union-site experience and OSHA certification a plus.
