Jabil is seeking an Operations Project Manager for Manufacturing NPI to work in the plant in Auburn Hills, MI.

As the Operations Project Manager for Manufacturing NPI, you will lead and support assigned projects of medium to high complexity, applying project management methodology to support the company and group strategy. You will manage projects through the lifecycle, from concept to launch, and provide guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and project teams responsible for implementing Jabil’s strategies.

• Develop SOW, business proposals, functional requirements, project plan with milestones and implementation plan.
• Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework.
• Ensure all project requirements and objectives are gathered, understood, and translated for execution.
• Define and monitor project KPIs and manage work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
• Conduct project risk reviews and implement appropriate mitigation.
• Facilitate communication with all stakeholders and escalate issues to the next level of management as needed.
• Collaborate on forecasted project budget and staffing needs for current and future site needs.
• Be accountable for overall project success, including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction internal and external to project success.
• Form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations.
• Identify cost-effective corrective actions and track changes for senior management review.
• Provide feedback to project team and leaders on cost concerns.
• Drive the wider team to continuously improve key operational metrics and project/organizational goals.
• Develop and own the project plan with a road map, clear dates, and deliverables.
• Provide regular project updates to the team, departments, stakeholders, project champions, and senior leadership as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and deliverables.
• Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria.
• Establish and maintain communications with customer personnel and senior management as needed.
• Ensure all sensitive information is handled appropriately.
• Facilitate communication and education for interested parties as deemed necessary.
• Manage cross-divisional/cross-functional/cross-cultural teams.
• Build and structure integrated teams for maximum performance and provide direction and motivation.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to project team members, including giving and receiving feedback.
• Identify and prepare proposals to close gaps and mitigate risk.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and comply with company security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or related discipline is strongly preferred, or equivalent training/field experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading projects or in project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing with a focus on New Product Introduction.

• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Advanced PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers.
