Warehouse Shipping Lead

The Warehouse Shipping Lead will assist in the day-to-day operations of picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers in a timely and safe manner.
This position works 3p-11:30 Mon‑Fri.

• Ensure customer orders are completing in a timely fashion. Greet customers in a quick and friendly manner
• Coordinate order printing, carton creation, and cart processes
• Ensure all orders are released to the warehouse efficiently to meet cutoff times
• Coordinate with internal customer service group via phone and email to expedite order changes
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information
• Use provided reports to work with shift supervisors to ensure service guarantees are met consistently
• Any additional duties assigned by management

Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• Generally, internal candidates must have been in their current position for 12 months, and are expected to hold this position for at least 12 months.
• Minimum completion of High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of previous work experience in shipping/receiving or similar
• Ability to read, write, and understand Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Experience with planning, coordinating, scheduling, and managing transportation logistics
• Experience creating bills of lading, shipping manifests, and managing dock orders
• Ability to handle physical workload – job requires repetitive lifting, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
