Legal Secretary / Assistant – Construction Law & Commercial Litigation
We are a national construction law firm specializing in construction law and litigation, headquartered in Auburn Hills, MI. We are seeking a Legal Secretary/Assistant with 10–15 years of experience in commercial litigation, if possible.
A college education is preferred. Grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail are paramount, along with a strong commitment to excellence in work product.
We are willing to provide training and will offer compensation commensurate with experience and potential. The expected starting salary for a qualified applicant is $85,000 per year, with benefits. Salary will be dependent on experience. References will be required.
Qualified candidates should be:- Familiar with the litigation process
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading experience
- Experienced in e-filing in both state and federal courts
