Experience:

• Knowledge of telecommunication technologies, systems, and circuits.
• Data center skills such as installing and moving equipment and cabling.
• Knowledge of common network protocols such as TCP/IP.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Skills include rack setup, layout, leveling, power strip setup, ladder and fiber tray construction.
• Installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems.

• Perform preventative maintenance in data centers according to schedule and ensure effective operation of mechanical building systems.
• Administer all service requests/change controls and provide resolutions.
• Manage emergency backups to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Handle recurring problems, ensuring timely completion according to capacity demands.
• Assist senior engineers and troubleshoot data center issues.
• Work on assigned tickets: running cables per standards and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records and document all problems.
