Key Responsibilities- Develop, plan and implement a sourcing strategy, and drive sourcing initiatives to deliver savings to target within defined categories.
- Categories in focus are Service, Facilities, and Materials.
- Manage a wide supplier base and develop it to meet requirements of cost reduction, efficiency, quality, delivery and sustainability in accordance with company guidelines.
- Negotiate agreements based on corporate contractual framework with suppliers, and periodically renew price lists, terms and conditions.
- Work with process improvements and system implementations, utilizing digital tools to make it easy to buy and always ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics preferred with 8+ years of procurement experience.
- Experience working with indirect procurement is beneficial.
- Strong background in sourcing and extensive experience as a negotiator.
- Ability to develop sourcing strategies, execute hands‑on sourcing, run negotiations, and manage contracting.
- Analytical, result‑oriented, with a structured problem‑solving approach to deliver on targets.
- Curious and quick to learn new things, managing broad indirect material and service categories and capturing demand from multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, creating commitment with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of IS/IT categories is a plus.
- Choice between two medical plan options: a PPO Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan with HSAs.

Location:
United States or Mexico – primarily focused on the Americas with a global outlook. Salary: $98,700–$157,920 annually.
