About Havenwyck Hospital
Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission‑accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We provide comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults, aiming to build strength, confidence and self‑care in each patient.
Responsibilities- Follows instructions given by Program Director as outlined in policies and procedure.
- Provides care to child/adolescent (9‑18) in a manner that considers safety, residents' rights, comfort, level of development, and the therapeutic environment.
- Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
- Assists with resident trips outside the center, transporting residents in hospital van as needed.
- Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment while observing resident behavior, mental status, and activities, and reports this information to appropriate clinical staff.
- Assists with activities of daily living and encourages independent behavior.
- Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers and Toolbox the implementation of residents' individualized plan of care.
- High School diploma required.
- Associate degree in health care field or two years college, preferred.
- At least 18 months' experience in RCS role or positions commensurate to RCS role, required.
- Experience in dealing with the emotionally impaired, preferred.
- Experience in treating Impulse Disorder population, preferred. (On Impulse Disorder Unit)
- Provision of satisfactory motor vehicle operation report, preferred. zira
