EMC Test Technician

Apex Test Labs is a privately held corporation specializing in comprehensive testing services, with a strong emphasis on the automotive industry. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an EMC Test Technician based in Auburn Hills, MI. The EMC Test Technician will be responsible for conducting automotive-focused electromagnetic compatibility tests, calibrating and utilizing test equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues encountered during testing. The technician will also help document test results, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and achieve high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience with Soldering and fundamental electrical assembly techniques
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues
• Familiarity with Test Equipment and Calibration processes for accurate compliance testing
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for team collaboration and reporting
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain precise and accurate records
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and regulatory testing is a plus
• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
