As a Controls Verification Engineer in QTHP, you ll be the technical reference for verifying software quality across propulsion nodes (engine, transmission, hybrid controller) for all Hybrid and PMBD ICE programs r mission: ensure every requirement is properly implemented by testing Simulink models using advanced virtual tools.

Responsibilities- Analyze requirements and review software documentation to ensure alignment.
- Design comprehensive test plans based on functional objectives.
- Execute tests using advanced virtual platforms to validate software performance.
- Collaborate with the Calibration team to pre-calibrate new software algorithms.
- Contribute to Lessons Learned by addressing escaped issues and strengthening processes for improved quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure robust fixes and prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in the automotive industry
- Ability to thrive in an Agile development environment
- Strong proficiency in Simulink model development and analysis
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Previous experience in controls/software development, testing, or calibration
