• Plan and implement engineering programs, activities, and milestones to meet customer requirements.
• Provide reports on the status of project milestones and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Control expenditures within the limits of the project budget.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, including internal and external samples, design documents for internal release and customer.
• Coordinate and create deliverables for bid packages regarding engineering, including BOM creation, product sizing, fit and form evaluation.
• Assign and oversee project personnel to specific phases or aspects of the project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing.
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
• Responsible for the technical analysis of risks and errors (DFMEA), problems, and the impact of changes; prepare proposals and implement technical changes.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of changes and change control management.
• Implement and manage the DTM (Development Team Meeting) for change control management.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of related experience with products in the automotive industry, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with project management processes / PDP.
• Experience in product development.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Knowledge of engineering materials.
• Proficiency in tolerance stack optimization / GD/T.
• Experience with DFMEA creation and analysis.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience with BOM creation and development.
• Experience with engineering change management.
• Ability to relate cost to product design.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) / assembly process.
• Proficiency with necessary IT tools (SAP, IQRM).
• Excellent communication, networking, decision‑making, time‑management, self‑motivation, conflict resolution, problem solving, ability to influence, resilience/self‑confidence, and mentoring skills.
