Job Description

• We are looking for a motivated and skilled BIW Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in passenger car development, with strong expertise in addressing and resolving quality issues.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure BIW components meet customer expectations and industry standards.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix open quality issues related to passenger car BIW components (body panels, chassis structure, welds, joints, etc.).
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify potential BIW issues.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for BIW quality concerns.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues and ensure timely closure of open issues.
• Support testing and validation activities to ensure resolved issues meet functional and safety requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of quality issues, actions taken, and lessons learned.
• Provide inputs for continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in BIW engineering of passenger cars with hands‑on exposure to quality issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards and processes (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D, etc.).
• Proven ability to fix open quality issues effectively.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and technical documentation related to BIW components.
• Good problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Exposure to supplier quality management and manufacturing processes.

• Proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple quality issues simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
