Akkodis is seeking an Electrified Powertrain Engineer for our Contract Position (12+ Months) role with our client in Auburn Hills, MI
.
Pay Range: $35/hr to $42/hr on W2. The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Type: Contract (12+ Months)
The Electrified Propulsion System Engineer will work in a diverse lab environment supporting development & durability activities for Electric Drive Motors (EDMs) and Hybrid Propulsion Systems. The test engineer will work with mechanics and product engineers to develop test procedures for electric drive line testing on dynamo meters.
Required Skills/Abilities- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Understanding of engine and/or transmission operation, powertrain functions and electrification power flow.
- Minimum of 3-year experience in test automation systems, and dynamometer test schedule development for various vehicle powertrain configurations.
- Strong knowledge of test system controls.
- Must have strong understanding in electric vehicle drive components, energy storage system (E-motors, inverters, Battery, Charger) and interactions between various sub-systems.
