Senior Buyer - Software

• Drive cross-functional commodity strategies to ensure innovation, development and execution of current and in-development products
• Develop and implement creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, sourcing of complex/innovative product, purchase order issuance/maintenance and contract administration
• Sourcing suppliers, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
• Leading supplier development and cross-functional communications with suppliers using a "One Voice" approach and lead a cross-functional team including partners from IT, Legal, Finance and other business departments
• Managing key supplier relationships while maximizing suppliers' ability to deliver quality product on time

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program;
  Other technical degrees with business background also considered
• 7 years of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
• Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
• Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment and able to effectively interface with cross functional teams and all levels of senior management
• Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders (software purchase licenses and services, subscriptions, cyber security, etc)
• Strong use of MS Office Suite/G Suite

• Experience in IT space and knowledge of IT software/services
• 1 year of exposure to technical projects in the infotainment, connectivity or software space preferred
