** SENIOR SAFETY SPECIALIST (EHS) - ATWATER, CA.**
* ** Target Salary Range = $95,000 to $100,000

* ** Senior Safety Specialist
** to champion our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across multiple divisional  this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment. You'll partner with site leadership and diverse teams to minimize risk, promote health, and embed EHS into our daily operations.##
** WHAT YOU'LL DO:**
* ** Strategize & Implement:
** Develop and execute modern, effective EHS policies and procedures that ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
* ** Assess & Mitigate:
** Conduct regular, hands-on risk assessments, inspections, and audits to proactively identify hazards and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
* ** Educate & Empower:
** Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs that resonate with various teams and foster a safety-first mindset across the organization.
* ** Investigate & Innovate:
** Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes of accidents/near misses, and implement robust preventive measures to ensure they don't happen again.
* ** Collaborate & Influence:
** Serve as a key EHS partner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into all business operations and project planning.##
** WHAT YOU'LL NEED:**

* Experience:

** 5+ years of dedicated EHS experience, ideally within a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment.
* *
* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
* ** Expertise:
** Deep, practical knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations.
* ** Certification (Bonus):
** Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) is a plus.
