Job Description

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs, daily collection of credit accounts, build and maintain relationships with Main Street and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries, assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase average transaction value, maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot, general stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts, maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales, engage with walk‑in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services, other duties as assigned.

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals)
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

• Automotive parts experience is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Employee will predominantly be walking or standing, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Other specified physical requirements include reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, handling or feeling with hands and fingers, and using vision for close and distance tasks.

Employee usually works inside, occasionally outside exposed to weather, mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration. Noise level usually moderate.

Estimated between $15.95 and $16.95 per hour for new team members, with variations based on location, experience, education, and other factors.
