Position Summary

As a Café Manager at Corner Market Café, you’ll lead daily café operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience, efficient processes, and strong financial performance. This position reports directly to the District Manager and requires a minimum commitment of 45 hours per week across six days.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for training, developing, and inspiring a team while maintaining product quality, service excellence, and compliance with company standards. Applicants must be 17 years or older to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience by maintaining a friendly, efficient, and welcoming café environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members; provide coaching, recognition, and constructive feedback.
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, cash control, inventory, and food safety standards.
  • Ensure café cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health, safety, and company policies.
  • Monitor and control controllable expenses including labor, waste, and shrink.
  • Maintain accurate product displays, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Complete required reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Model company values and uphold professional behavior at all times.
  • Perform hands‑on operational tasks as needed, including cashiering, food preparation, and restocking.
  • Report and document employee or customer incidents per company policy.
  • Partner with the District Manager to achieve sales goals and operational excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must consent to a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Serv Safe certification (or ability to obtain) required.
