Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $35.00/hr

We are seeking a passionate, detail‑oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards while complying with industry regulations.

Authority and Accountability
  • Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the QC Supervisor delegates responsibilities as necessary while retaining total accountability for outcomes.
  • Authorized to sign documents on behalf of the Company with approval from the General Manager – Wholesale and Quality Control Manager.
  • Ensures the quality of the food products the company produces meets or exceeds established standards.
  • Enforces quality routines and procedures to keep operations compliant with all established standards, including accuracy and integrity of inventory.
  • Maintains proper document storage and record‑keeping in accordance with USDA, SQF, FDA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in establishing and enforcing operational standards, safeguarding the assets of Willow Tree Poultry Farm, Inc. and its customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with oversight of all quality operations as assigned.
  • Take personal accountability for actions taken or not taken.
  • Scrutinize, identify, and inspect key product parameters for potential omissions.
  • Verify production work complies with key company parameters.
  • Identify non‑compliance, report to the QC Manager, and correct or educate to prevent recurrence.
  • Share quality findings with management and production staff.
  • Ensure all regulatory agency requirements are met and systems are in place.
  • Sign quality reports as required, indicating acceptance within approved quality standards and budgetary guidelines.
  • Report variances immediately to the Quality Control Manager, Production Manager, General Manager – Wholesale, and President.
  • Make proactive decisions within authority levels and communicate clearly with the QC Manager.
  • Follow through on directions from management effectively.
  • Coordinate regulatory programs to maintain compliance with regulations, codes, and guidelines.
  • Create and implement quality system checks to validate training and safety program efficiency.
  • Take any reasonable legal action in line with policies and ethical business judgment.
  • Promote a positive company image by demonstrating the serious commitment to quality and service.
  • Enthusiastically promote, encourage, and implement all management decisions, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties necessary to achieve quality‑focused profits and growth while sustaining performance standards.
  • Maintain communication with regulatory agencies such as SQF, USDA, FDA, HACCP, and others as required.
Position Qualifications and Requirements
  • Background and experience in technical and quality areas of food production and distribution.
  • Self‑starting, detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills for optimizing quality output.
  • Ability to identify issues, recognize corrective solutions, and train staff on implementation.
  • Hands‑on, continuous inspection of products, raw materials, and finished foods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, or five+ years experience in Food Production Quality Standards, USDA, SQF, FDA, HACCP regulations, quality, and engineering, with willingness to pursue additional training.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a top‑level technician in a food manufacturing and distribution company.
  • HACCP certified.
  • Physical demands: prolonged standing/sitting, refrigerated areas, dexterity to handle equipment, ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Fluency in English (read, write, speak).
  • Sound business judgment and problem‑solving skills.
