• Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) / L&D Nurse (Travel, W2)
• Location: Attleboro, MA 02703 (Greater Boston area; near Providence, RI)
• Contract Length: 14 weeks (3/16/2026–6/8/2026)
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Unit: 15-bed Labor & Delivery (rooming-in model; newborn nursery PRN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, W2

• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (active clinical L&D skills)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (travel nurse assignments preferred)
• Active Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner required
• AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced certifications preferred
• Cerner EHR experience preferred but not required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions); flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

• Provide high-quality, family-centered maternal and newborn care in a 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit
• Conduct maternal and fetal assessments, including external and internal fetal monitoring and fetal heart rate interpretation
• Manage labor interventions: IV therapy, infusion pumps, medication administration (oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, antihypertensives) and emergency interventions
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery; support early newborn care and stabilization
• Provide newborn support: APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, hypoglycemia screening, routine newborn assessments, and parent education
• Use Omnicell medication system and SBAR communication for safe medication administration and handoffs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB physicians, anesthesia, PT, respiratory therapy, radiology, social services, phlebotomy, rapid response, interpretation services, unit secretary)
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control and PPE protocols, and support breastfeeding/lactation and discharge teaching

• Experience with maternal-newborn care, fetal monitoring, postpartum nursing, and newborn stabilization
• Comfortable in emergency OB situations and perinatal clinical workflows
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and patient education focus
