Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts

• 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients with 24-48 hour stays

• Patient ratios of 1:5 for both days and nights

• Guaranteed 48 hours for 4x12 hour shifts

• Weekend requirement: 2-3 shifts in 6 weeks (Saturday/Sunday)

• On-call required: 5-6 night shifts in 6 weeks (22:00-07:00)

• Must float within scope to M/S Tele as needed

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• 2 years of telemetry experience required

• Must have strong tele experience and ability to function autonomously

• Epic or Cerner experience required

• Required certifications: MA state license, ACLS, BCLS

• Any color scrubs allowed (no jean material)

• Cerner charting system

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical diagnoses

• Handle telemetry observation patients, occasional overflow surgical patients

• No medication drips administered

• Must interpret and manage dysrhythmias

• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
