Team Lead - EVS - Weekend NIGHTS

Responsibilities

In accordance with established policies and procedures, directs and coordinates activities and assignments of Environmental Services aides and/or project aides on assigned shift, maintaining documentation as appropriate.

• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping/environmental services experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve as needed while maintaining workflow and daily activity
• Ability to think critically in making decisions and problem solving to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues.
• Ability and flexibility to handle interruptions while maintaining momentum in meeting hospital-wide environmental needs
• Ability to work independently exercising good judgment in addressing all task and staff related activities and challenges

• Experience in a supervisory or lead role in an acute care setting
• Strong computer knowledge a plus

• High school diploma. Some college preferred.

Salary Range: $16.16-$19.47
