Job Details:

• Work 4x12 night shifts in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit

• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights

• 36 hours guaranteed for 3-12 hour shifts, 48 hours guaranteed for 4-12 hour shifts

• Weekend requirement of 2-3 shifts in 6 weeks (Saturday/Sunday)

• On-call requirement of 5-6 night shifts in 6 weeks (22:00-07:00)

• Float to M/S Tele units as needed within scope

• Care for patients in observation status withhour stays for rule-out diagnoses

• Handle telemetry observation patients with varying medical diagnoses and occasional overflow surgical patients

• No medication drips administered

• Must function autonomously with strong telemetry experience

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Required certifications: MA state license, ACLS, BCLS

• 2 years of experience required

• Cerner charting system experience preferred

• Any color scrubs permitted (no jean material)

• 36-hour orientation provided

• Standard contract length is 14 weeks

The facility utilizes Cerner charting systems and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and transportation services. The hospital maintains high standards of patient care with specialized observation units designed for short-term diagnostic evaluation and monitoring.
