• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balances his/her register according to company policy
• Calls out prices for customers when ringing transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently at the point of sale
• Handles all cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids, and checks
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Provides proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing up customers in a timely manner, and inviting them to return
• Follows all safety procedures
• Maintains a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assists management with merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels
• Assists management with tasks requested per company policy
• Explains exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
• Supports loss prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following current operational policies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages)
