The Company:
Our client is a multinational business seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer responsible for the entire process of new equipment scheme review, from layout to equipment delivery, at their Tuscaloosa plant. The company operates across the USA, Europe, and Asia, specializing in testing, grading, harvesting, and recycling electronic parts, working with leading OEMs and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the new equipment review process, from layout to delivery, ensuring compliance with design specifications for reliability, maintainability, and safety/quality.
- Lead the launch of new production lines, managing milestones like assembly, debugging, and ramp-up.
- Improve existing equipment capacity, productivity, and quality while reducing energy consumption and costs.
- Overhaul automation systems and robot electrical components, analyzing faults and devising improvements.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and perform professional maintenance.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Electrical Automation, or related fields.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic diagrams and automation testing software.
- Hands-on experience with debugging, programming, and optimizing PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider) and industrial robots (KUKA, ABB).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance in a large manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
