• Assignment Type: Travel Contract — Travel Nurse / RN
• Unit: Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Recovery) with float to Med/Surg
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• End Date: June 15, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights; every third weekend (night shift travel nurse)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2360 - $2480 (competitive travel nursing pay)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact Nurse Licensure (compact state RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg, Obstetrics, or related acute care
• BLS required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Comfortable floating between Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Recovery) and Med/Surg units
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Previous travel nurse experience or flexibility to adapt to varying patient populations is a plus

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Obstetrics unit (labor, delivery, postpartum, recovery)
• Float to the Med/Surg floor when obstetric patient volume is low and deliver comprehensive nursing care
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond rapidly to changes and emergencies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, recovery, discharge planning, and health promotion
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
