Essential Responsibilities for a Supervisor of Housekeeping/Laundry with Heritage House:
- Supervise the performance of staff to ensure that resident and guest satisfaction is met
- Assist in recruitment, training, evaluation and performance management
- Manage attendance and ensure that they notify him/her no later than two hours before shift when unable to report to work. Responsible for ensuring that all shifts are filled appropriately.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to daily work/cleaning schedules. Perform regular audits to verify services meet community standards.
- Train staff on established infection control and universal precautions practices and ensure that protocols are followed by the team.
- Maintain resident communication regarding housekeeping/laundry matters. Follow up with resident concerns promptly.
- Coordinate all departmental meetings and training courses on a consistent basis. Ensure that the team maintains compliance with required learning.
- Report any accidents or hazards promptly to ensure the safety of the community residents, guests and team members.
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties as needed
- Maintain and audit housekeeping inventory.
Hours range from 7:00AM-3:30PM (Every Other Weekend, potentially move to every 3rd weekend)
