PositionSummary
The Capital Projects Manager assists the Director of Capital Projects (DCP) in planning, directing, and administering the day‑to‑day operations of the Capital Improvement Program under the direction of Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) Project Implementation and Management (PIM). In this role, the manager supports the DCP with the planning, direction, supervision, and coordination of engineering activities; assists with the preparation of capital improvement budgets;
and supervises assigned staff and the work of contract consultants and contractors to support contract and regulatory compliance.
Annual salary: $60,000–$70,000.

Responsibilities- Coordinating meetings, appointments, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. Maintaining physical and digital filing systems, including physical and digital blueprints.
- Managing office supplies and ensuring overall well‑organized workspace. Creating reports, presentations, memos, and other documents.
- Assisting with invoice and expense records and all administrative tasks related to projects. Acting as a point of contact between different departments or external parties.
- Strategic leadership:
Directs and supervises administration of all aspects of capital projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals. - Budget and finance:
Assists with budget preparation, monitors financial performance, and recommends releasing vendor payments to the Director of Capital Projects. - Stakeholder management:
Communicates with CRDA PIM administration, government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders. - Risk management:
Assists in identifying potential risks and implements mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. - RFP & Contract Administration:
Assists in preparing request for proposal (RFP), coordinating the bidding process, and preparing bid documents. - Represents the Capital Project Director as needed at various meetings.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with facility staff, facility stakeholders and facility users.
- Completes all duties with a customer service focus through teamwork and dedication to OVG’s principles.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 3‑5 plus years of extensive experience in project management, working order system and financial management, including a history of familiarization with large‑scale projects.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, contracts, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Knowledge of project management principles, budget management, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Efficiently manage scheduling needs, ensuring timely coordination of tasks, meetings, and project milestones.
- Generate, analyze, and maintain detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, including data tracking and performance summaries.
- Utilize project management software to organize workflows, monitor progress, and support seamless project execution.
