Overview
Summary of Position — Responsible for leading the hotel's sales strategy to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. This role oversees all sales activities, manages the sales team, develops key accounts, and works closely with revenue management and marketing to drive group, corporate, and transient business.

Qualifications and Skills- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Experience with hotel CRM systems, PMS, and revenue management tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic sales leadership and team development
- Financial acumen and forecasting expertise
- Relationship management at executive and corporate levels
- Data-driven decision-making
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of hotel sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Develop and execute the hotel's overall sales and marketing strategy
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue goals
- Establish and grow key corporate, group, and leisure accounts
- Set sales targets, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with hotel objectives
- Collaborate with revenue management on pricing and demand strategies
- Oversee contract negotiations and large account agreements
- Monitor market trends, competitive set performance, and demand drivers
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Ensure accurate reporting, CRM usage, and pipeline management
- Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
