Cage Cashier
Under the direction of the Cage Supervisors, the Cage Cashier is responsible for the safety and security of company funds and controlling and accounting of funds for the cage and general cashiering windows. The role involves performing high volume cash and non-cash transactions for guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner, while strictly adhering to Internal Control policies, the company’s Responsible Gaming plan, and state and federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti‑Money Laundering Title 31 Compliance program.

- Pay rate $20.00 per hour
- Responsible for the imprest bank issued while performing external guest and in‑house monetary transactions.
- Balance and issue imprest banks issued to F&B and Hotel team members.
- Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
- Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with NJ Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
- Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments efficiently.
- Assist the Kiosk bank in replenishing kiosks on the casino floor.
- Assist Slots in troubleshooting the Kiosk machines.
- Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures to maintain integrity of the Cage operation.
- Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process with accurate transaction and balancing practices.
- Comply with Federal Title 31 laws.
- Ensure responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying managers of concerns.
- Promote positive public/team member relations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to company mission and values.
- Notify managers or Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least six months of cash handling experience.
- Cage operations experience preferred.
- Must hold a valid CER issued from NJ Gaming Enforcement or be able to obtain one.
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
