ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Grades K - 8

JOB GOAL:
Supports the district digital learning plan. Provides input in the adoption and use of district-wide and building level programs that enable teachers and students to use technology as learning tools. Investigates and disseminates information on evidence and research-based practices for: technology integration; and sources of information on trends, research and applications related to technology used in the educational technology program.

Provides instruction, training, and resources in order to facilitate the use of technology in classrooms which will expand students' learning, promote higher order thinking processes, and expand students use of technology resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate.

* Holders of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional requirement.

* Master's degree in instructional technology preferred.

* Possesses and demonstrates a high aptitude for educational technology skills and the ability to implement the application of technological resources across the curriculum.

* Ability to execute staff training in the areas of digital learning.

* Demonstrates experience working with teachers, administrators, and other professional staff with varying technology skills.

* Effectively communicates and understands job instructions, both verbally and written, in the English language.

* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
