Atlantic Cape Community College seeks qualified adjunct instructors to deliver high quality instruction at our three full-service campuses and through distance education. If you are qualified to teach at Atlantic Cape, your materials will be maintained in a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching opportunities arise throughout the academic year, you may be contacted by the College for an interview.
Compensation: $780 per contact hour
AVIT250: sUAS Maintenance and Repair
Teach and mentor students in hands‑on labs and lectures focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) under 55 pounds. Guide students through real‑world tasks such as aircraft modifications, component identification, payload and battery maintenance, software updates, test flights, and professional recordkeeping.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
- FAA Remote Pilot Certificate required
- Proven hands‑on experience with sUAS maintenance, repair, and operation
- Skilled in electronic, mechanical, and software troubleshooting for small unmanned aircraft
- Knowledge of safety inspections, checklists, and regulatory compliance
- Teaching or technical instruction experience preferred but not required
