Here are 7 key responsibilities for an SAP Basis Administrator role:
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems across various environments (development, testing, production) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal SAP system performance and uptime.
- Manage SAP transports and change requests to promote development and configuration changes across landscapes following change management policies.
- Handle SAP system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates to keep systems current and secure.
- Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and performance optimization of underlying databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.).
- Manage SAP user administration and security roles
, ensuring proper access controls and compliance with organizational policies. - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to provide SAP Basis support for project implementations, migrations, and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
