Job Purpose
Warehouse Manager:
Is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the 3 warehouse facilities at Mikart LLC, including the stock accuracy against the ERP system, stock control, labeling, and movement to GMP. All standard operating procedures required to ensure robust operation are created and updated by this manager.
- For compliance with the Mikart standards for Quality and EH&S, for maintenance of the materials systems that are established to facilitate compliance.
- For supervising all inbound and outbound shipments. The accuracy of lot information, quantities, codes, etc., for all receipts and shipments.
- For the accurate distribution and return materials from work orders. Ensure proper stock rotation based on First In/First Expired. Verify that all raw materials and packaging components are securely maintained, appropriately labelled and in the designated areas.
- For the inspection and verification of controlled substances immediately upon arrival to ensure that integrity of the containers have not been compromised.
- For coordinating the destruction of rejected materials in compliance with appropriate procedures.
- For the efficient operation of the warehouses and use of the required resources.
- Makes decisions based on professional judgment, experience, cGMP regulations, and the ethical guidelines of good business practices.
- Ensure that Warehouse personnel handle controlled substances in strict accordance with procedures.
- Ensure that the warehouses, shipping offices, equipment and transport vehicles are maintained in a clean, neat and orderly manner and that warehouse security is maintained at all times.
- Train and develop warehouse personnel in proper procedures for correct and safe handling of materials. Ensure that all warehouse employees comply with applicable procedures and regulations, and that all safety procedures are followed.
- Develop all SOP's required for operation, cleaning and maintenance of warehouses in all facilities.
- Assure that all orders for direct and indirect materials are received in the ERP system.
- Undertaking cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
- Robust management and development of personnel to ensure seamless cover during vacation periods etc.
The Warehouse Associate(s) will report to the Warehouse Manager.
