Station Manager - Prospect

Responsible for ensuring the daily airport operation runs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, as well as overseeing and coordinating team activities to create a safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operation.

• Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure the station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required.
• Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching and mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
• Ensures that employees are properly trained and audits safety records as needed.
• Sets, measures and manages the performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving operational and financial objectives and goals.
• Completes work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately reports safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Three years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.
• Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.
• Can work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Operates in a shift bid environment.
• Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
• Enjoys the outdoors daily (sun, rain, sleet or snow!). May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.

• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

• Must be able to frequently lift, move up to 70 lbs;
  Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
