Full‑time Shift(s): TUE WED THU SUN 11:00pm – 1:00pm

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team‑oriented individuals to join our transportation team. As a Full‑time Driver (DOT‑CDL), you will represent our fleet, delivering from Fastenal Distribution Centers to branches and on‑site customer locations. You will operate a safe, well‑maintained, and late‑model tractor‑trailer or straight truck. Delivery trucks are pre‑loaded and ordered by warehouse employees before departure, and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop.

Most routes average 10–12 stops. We offer established routes that may change periodically based on company needs. • Utilize a handheld scanner
• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
• Provide excellent service to branches and customers by delivering products promptly and efficiently
• Interact with shipping and receiving departments
• Maintain a clean work environment within our equipment area
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Inspect and report defects or issues in equipment
• Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations
• Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety, and sustainability objectives
• Learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess or be in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
• Possess a current Health Card or have the ability to obtain one
• Possess a current Haz‑Mat endorsement or have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam only)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations for a CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT‑regulated Drivers Hours‑of‑Service
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
• Demonstrate Fastenal core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Successfully complete required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification, and background check

• Prior driving work experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift
