Logistics Account Specialist

Overview

The Enterprise Special Services (ESS) Linehaul team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Inbound Transportation. As we continue to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we continuously evaluate network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily
• Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time
• Identify transportation defect root causes
• Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
• Lead Daily Business Review stand-up calls

  Good relationship building skills, organizational skills, effective communication on top of technical skills, cost-minimization, managing disruptions as they occur, supply chain technical skills. Ability to adapt to different industries; prior experience in fields such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, restaurants is noted as valuable for interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Basic Qualifications
  :
• 2 years of Logistics, Supply Chain or Amazon experience preferred
• Understanding of basic data analytical skills
• Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals
• Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data
• Interpersonal and customer service skills

• Microsoft Excel knowledge required (pivot tables)
• Outlook
• Will be trained on internal transportation management and ground control systems

Entry Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
