Air Import Supervisor

We’re seeking an experienced Air Import Supervisor to work for a Top 10 Freight Forwarder. This role focuses on ensuring timely, compliant shipment processing while delivering strong customer service and driving operational improvements.

• Lead and support a team of air import coordinators, including training and performance management
• Oversee air import shipments from arrival through delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal teams
• Resolve shipment issues such as delays, documentation errors, or clearance challenges
• Ensure all import documentation meets regulatory and company standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality

• 5+ years of experience in air import operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of air freight procedures, documentation, and import regulations
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Equivalent experience in transportation or logistics will be considered

• Competitive base salary range: $70,000–$90,000 annually
