Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Jonesboro, GA.

Pay: $1320 or more per week. Details:

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hours Per Week: 45+ hours
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.53 per Mile (avg 1900 miles/week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $23.75 per Stop (avg 12 stops/week)
• Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night (1-3 nights/week)
• Overnights in Ryder booked hotels
• Paid Training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday OR Tuesday - Saturday
• Start time:
  Noon - 5:00 AM

Route: SOLO to Southeast from VA to FL and East of MS. Regional. Equipment:
Day cabs and sleepers;
Dry Van 53’. Freight:
Touch Hardware Materials. Endorsements:
Hazmat within 90 Days of Hire. Trucks 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor/trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
