This role is responsible for transporting finished goods, raw materials, and wastewater between plant locations, suppliers, and customers using both tanker and dry box trailers. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies, conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform minor repairs, and support food safety and sanitation protocols. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient logistics and upholding product quality standards.

- Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), clear vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Must know basic mechanical troubleshooting for trailers and tractors.
- Must be able to physically qualify under DOT guidelines.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to perform physical work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Work confidentially and exercise discretion when handling sensitive documents.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to drive a forklift and use typical material handling tools, lifts, jacks, hand trucks, etc.
- Transport finished goods, raw materials, over land, to and from facility.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems and safety issues, pre-trip inspections.
- Comply with DOT truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions, transport products to various customers via tanker and dry box.
- Report truck defects, accidents, or any traffic violations to Transportation Manager.
- Responsible for transporting products between g2g Bottling locations and associated suppliers.
- Transport waste for disposal, operate pumps.
- Perform small repairs on tractors and trailers when required.
- Support compliance activities associated with Food Safety Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
