• Build and expand your US‑based book of carrier partners, maintaining strong, long‑term relationships
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts to maximize profitability
• Manage daily shipments to ensure timely pick‑up and delivery
• Resolve transportation issues quickly and professionally
• Collaborate internally on pricing strategy, account plans, and customer solutions
• Maintain market knowledge: lanes, seasonality, geography, and capacity trends
• Meet and exceed KPIs and department goals
• Mentor and train local Panamanian team members in freight brokerage best practices, operational excellence, and relationship management
• Take ownership of critical loads and key accounts

• Freight brokerage, carrier procurement, or logistics experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associates/Bachelor’s in logistics or business preferred
• Proficiency with Google Drive and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, reporting)
• Professional English proficiency (written and verbal)
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively
• Passion for mentoring and developing others
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate

This role requires relocation to Panama City, Panama for a minimum of 1 year.
