The part time Flights Ops Support role provides subject matter expert support to key projects and needs inside of Flight Training & Standards and Delta Professional Services (DPS). This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops Support individuals should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas of focus.
This position will report to the DPS Manager of Delta Flight Training Operations.
We are seeking a DPS FOS (Flight Operations Support) professional dedicated to the 737 MAX onboarding project. This role will play a critical part in supporting the entry-into-service initiative for the 737 MAX fleet, ensuring operational readiness for the planned launch 2027.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)- Collaborate with the 737-fleet team to prepare for entry-into-service.
- Ensure all manuals, training materials, and supplemental resources are developed, reviewed, and finalized prior to launch.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the fleet team, to align deliverables with project timelines.
- Support coordination between departments to guarantee compliance and readiness for operational deployment.
- Provide subject matter expertise on flight operations standards and documentation.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Solid organizational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Flight Operations infrastructure
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for entry-into-service.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Solid computer skills including proficiency with Office 365 and other Delta/DPS software.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
