Utility Worker

Transdev in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Utility Worker
. The Utility Worker is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• $17.65 - $21.39 per hour
• Starting pay of $17.65 with progression to $21.39 over 4 years

• Vacation: up to 14 days per year
• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full-time employees; 5 hours monthly for part-time employees

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log fluids
• Download drive cameras and probes; log fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperatures and weather conditions; 100% of work is outside, may work alone or in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 20 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; may bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise
