Head Football Coach

As a direct report to the Athletic Director, the Head Football Coach has overall responsibility for the administration and advancement of the College’s football program. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Morehouse, SIAC , and NCAA rules and regulations while providing prudent fiscal management of the program.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required), masters preferred. Minimum of five years of collegiate coaching experience required; experience as a head coach, or defensive/offensive coordinator strongly preferred.

The Head Football Coach holds responsibility for all activities under the football program to include supervision of assistant coaches, student-athletes, student employees, and volunteers; program budget oversight; recruitment of quality student-athletes; game preparation, strategy, and scheduling; and ensuring the success of the program and the student-athletes.
