The Application Developer II collaborates with a team of developers and IT professionals to build, maintain, and support software solutions for internal and external users. Under the guidance of a Development Team Lead, this role works with moderate independence and requires strong communication, customer service abilities, and problem‑solving skills. The position involves developing secure and efficient applications while partnering closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain applications aligned with business and user requirements.
- Research, architect, and implement new software features and systems.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and support for internally developed applications.
- Support application security by following established development best practices.
- Collaborate with IT staff to improve workflows, processes, and technical documentation.
- Develop and execute software testing plans.
- Assist product owners and project managers with requirements gathering and user story creation.
- Support cross‑functional IT initiatives as needed.
- Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Experience working on Agile development teams.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Ability to translate user stories into functional, high‑quality software.
- Proven experience with MVC frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with:
- Python
- PHP
- Ruby on Rails (RoR)
- Django
- JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies.
- Experience in GNU/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with modern relational databases (MySQL, Postgre
SQL, MS SQL).

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
